Soldier beetles (Rhagonycha fulva) mating on a creeping thistle flower (Cirsium arvense). In mid summer these small brown beetles appear tobe on every wild flower, particularly those of umbelliferous plants. Bedgebury Forest, Kent, UK. 24 July 2004.
