Peacock butterfly (Nymphalis io) with spread wings showing the peacock’s eyes. (According to Greek mythology Io was a priestess of Hera. Zeus fell in love with Io and Hera set hundred-eyed Argus to watch Io. Hermes charmed Argus with music until all his eyes closed and cut his head off.
