Nuraghe Mannu. This bronze age(1500-1000 BC) settlement with its tower of basalt blocks overlooks the Codula di Fuili canyon which would have been an important harbour at the time. This site later had strategic importance for the Romans. The walls in the foreground are of Roman buildings where the old rough hewn Bronze Age basalt blocks have been reused. Carla Gonone, Sardinia. September 2004.
