Berries on holly (Ilex aquifolium). Normally there are a few berries on each branch of the female holly tree. This is an extraordinarily heavy crop. These berries are not popular with birds and are eaten when all other berries are gone, usually in December or after Christmas. Bedgebury Forest, Kent, UK. November 2002
