021970.jpg

A picture made from flower petals and other natural materials as part of a traditional well dressing in Hayfield, Derbyshire. This picture commemorates the mass trespass of Kinder Scout on 24 April 1932. It shows a footpath going to 'open country' and wildlife found in the peaks including a hare, lapwing and curlew. Round the edges of the picture are contrasting images of a dreary industrial town. Hayfield, High Peak, Derbyshire, UK 15 July 2007
