A puff of black smoke rises from a yellow hydraulic digger digging shingle from the beach at the mouth of the River Rother. The shingle has been washed along the beach of Rye Bay by tides, currents and storms and is being moved back by truck. . Rye Harbour, Rye, Sussex, England, UK. 07 February 2007.
